Where do the buoys come from? are they used?
They buoys are all new and unused, they are authentic buoys purchased at a local fishing supply company in the Florida Keys, and individually hand painted with quality exterior paint for years of beauty. Every string is unique as after painting they have designs and sayings "burned" into the surface.
Do you make all the beads yourself?
No, I do make a lot of the focal beads used in my work but not all are handmade. I try to tell you in the description as to which ones are "handcrafted lampwork" beads.
Are the lampwork beads kiln annealed?
No, they are blanket annealed.
How do you get a smooth or non-sharp edge on the cut bottles?
They are cut then sanded down to a smooth surface with a diamond glass grinding wheel and fine grit sandpaper.
Why is shipping higher on the floats?
Shipping cost are high due to the size of box required for shipping.
What are the jewelry findings made of?
Unless they are specifically marked Sterling Silver they are silver colored metal.
